For coaches DI Salvo and striker Nicolo Tresoldi, the game will be a special one, both have Italian roots. “This is my parents’ origin, I’m looking forward to it,” said Di Salvo before the game on Wednesday. At an European Championship, the duel was only twice, both in 2009 (1-0 in the semi-finals) and 2017 (0: 1 in the preliminary round), the DFB team won the title at the end.
