When the evening falls, Gigolo Emil’s phone (19 centimeters, 170 euros per hour) is red -hot. “I am asked dozens of times a night by women and men if I can come by, but I only work when my children are not at home,” says Emil.
Emil is one of the night owls with whom Merlin visits the new program Merlin and the night owls. In it, the program maker investigates what happens in our province when everyone is sleeping.
Rest and the good length
If Merlin steps in at Emil, he has to switch. Emil looks very different from the stereotypical image that Merlin had in his head. “Yes, I am slim, I am not a wide chippendale,” says Emil. “But I radiate a certain peace and love women.”
Although, it’s not just that peace. Emil immediately says what it says: “You must also have a decent cock, otherwise they will not come.” And for the sake of clarity, the figures that Emil advertises are, according to him, are just the beginning. “That is in weak condition, in action it gets a lot bigger.”
No hassle
Anyone who thinks that older women in particular come to advertisements from Gigolos are wrong. “I have never had a customer over 35,” says Emil. “There are a lot of women who just don’t want the ‘hassle’. They want sex and that I will go home again afterwards.”
Although Emil also regularly receives special requests: “Sometimes someone just wants me to put him or her for the sex machine.” Merlin has to swallow – the what? “Then someone just wants to be tense for it so that he can’t go anywhere, while I am going to watch TV.” Merlin can try it, from Emil. “Can we blur that?”
Welcome to Paradise
Merlin wants to see the device with its own eyes. For that he has to go to the ‘office’ of Emil, on the first floor. “This is my paradise. I have everything at hand here. All toys, but also a lot of clean sheets, because that must be changed continuously. After every customer, a fresh set goes on,” says Emil.
Merlin’s eye has since fallen on the sex machine in the cupboard. “It’s a nice machine,” says Emil as he demonstrates the different positions. “Some people have a pool table or a pinball machine, but I have a sex room.”
‘I do what I feel like’
It is not a matter of course that Emil wants to talk about his work with a camera. There is still a taboo on sex work. Other escorts that Merlin spoke did not want to be recognizable in the picture. Emil does: “I have MS, a muscle disease, so sometimes I lie on the couch for whole days and I can’t do anything,” he says.
“That makes the choice easier. If you know that you still have 70 years, then you are more concerned with whether you have to put it on the people around you to go outside with this. But I don’t know when it will stop for me, so I decided to just do what I feel like.”
