Nader El-Jindaoui has been playing for the US club Ventura County since March. However, he was not paid for it. But the reason for this was himself.

After two years at Hertha BSC and his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga, Nader El-Jindaoui took a new step at the beginning of the year. He switched to the US club Ventura County FC, the “Farm team” of the MLS team Los Angeles Galaxy, with which Marco Reus is under contract.

For the 27-year-old from Berlin it should be the next step in his football career. But something went wrong in the background: the salary failed to materialize for months. This reported El-Jindaoui himself in a video on YouTube and on Instagram. During this time he “received no cent” from the club and even turned on a lawyer.

However, according to several US media, a spokesman for the association made it clear: the money was available-but a transfer was not technically possible. El-Jindaoui had simply failed to specify his account details. As soon as the bank details were completely transmitted, the outstanding salary was paid out in one fell swoop.
