The victory went to Tara Davis-Woodhall (USA), who once again demonstrated her class at 7.05 meters. Davis-Woodhall had already referred Mihambo to silver rank at the Tokyo Olympic Games.
Gina Lückenkemper showed an appealing performance over 200 meters. The former 100 m European champion became third and achieved her fastest time on this route in nine years with 22.76 seconds-even if she came about with a strong tailwind.
