Mario Stevens has again won the German championship title in show jumping.
With Starissa, the 42-year-old prevailed against the competition at the German Championships in Balve in the mixed rating with two zero rounds, for the veteran it is already the third championship title as a whole and the second success with Starissa after 2022.
On Sunday afternoon, Tom Schewe also remained flawless on Lorenzo, who, however, had two time errors. The bronze medal went to René Dittmer with Cody. Last year’s winner Patrick Stühlmeyer and Olympic champion Christian Kukuk were not at the start in Balve.
Previously, Stephie de Boer secured her first championship title in the separately led women’s concentration on Saturday.
