US rap artist Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, arrived at the Manhattan Federal Court on Friday to support the music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. Combs’ trial reported CNN.
West never entered the courtroom, but briefly followed the trial of his long -time friend in the adjacent room with a video connection with Combs sons. West’s brief performance took place the day after the former Combs girlfriend had decided on his certificate.
West arrived at the courthouse after the pseudonym ”Jane“The woman who proven had decided on her six -day certificate. Jane presented graphic details of situations where Combs would have put pressure on her girlfriend into drug -related sex sessions with paid companions.
According to his testimony, Jane was in relation to Combs since 2021 until the arrest of Combs last year. Jane said Combs, among other things, had forced her to have sex with male sex workers while Combs watched.
Jane’s certificate closely responded to the certificate of Casandra Ventura, a long-time girlfriend of the previous main witness, Combs, that these encounters were called “freak-offs”.
Defense
On Friday for Former Combs Assistant Jonathan Perez Said in his certificate that Jane seemed to be willing to participate in the “king evenings”. Perez said he had arranged drugs for Combs and so -called king evenings, even though they were not part of his actual job description. Perez served as an assistant to Combs for 2021-2024.
Perez also said, as an assistant to Combs, that he had helped Jane to choose underwear, high heels and dresses. According to Perez, Jane appreciated her taste of clothing, and she never looked shocked or unhappy after the so -called king evenings.
Perez confirmed to the defense attorney at the beginning of the interrogation that he continued to honor Combs. Perez also said he had sometimes seen Combs sad and crying over the years he worked for Combs.
The prosecutor asked Perez why he stopped working with Sean “Diddy” Combs in September 2024.
“Mr. Combs had a lot in personal life and not a lot of communication about what happened, so I thought it was a good time to leave, so I could avoid this kind of situation,” Perez replied.
When the television company ABC asked West on Friday if he was there to support Combs, the 48-year-old West nodded and replied, “Yes.” He then rushed to the elevator and did not respond to the journalist’s question whether he could testify on behalf of Combs next week in defense speeches. The Guardian West spent about 40 minutes at the courthouse.
Over the past month, the jury have heard witnesses in the series who describe the effects of 55-year-old Combs on his employees and former girlfriends. Combi is threatened by life imprisonment if he is convicted of organized crime and trafficking in human beings.
