A car hit a tree on the Langestraat in Klazienaveen and crashed head -on. The driver was trapped in the accident.
The police, fire brigade, ambulances and a trauma helicopter were called in for assistance. The driver could eventually be taken out of the car. He was then taken to the hospital.
