After the farewell to Manchester City, the next career station by Belgium Kevin de Bruyne is now fixed. The 33-year-old changes to Naples.

After ten years at Manchester City, Belgium’s football star Kevin de Bruyne accepted a new challenge. The 33-year-old changes to Serie A to the Italian champion SSC Naples. “King Kev is here,” wrote the club on the platform X and posted an illustration by de Bruyne, who sits on a throne in the Naples jersey and wears a golden crown on his head.

The midfielder switched from VfL Wolfsburg to Manchester City in 2015 and had shaped a success era there. With the club he won six championship titles and the Champions League in 2023. Most recently, he had lost his regular place under start coach Pep Guardiola.

“Just wish you the best,” wrote the English Premier League club on the occasion of the move to Italy. The Bruynes contract was not extended at the end of June, the Belgian therefore changes free of charge to the SSC Naples. He was one of the most valuable players on the transfer market, whose contract expires this summer.
