Varpu Hintsanen, a psychiatric nurse and mental coach, says in his Instagram publication that he has applied for his father today. Hintsanen has published several pictures in which he holds his father’s urn in his hands.
Hintsanen, who lives in Tampere, applied for Uurna from Jyväskylä because there was no crematorium closer to room.
If the publication is not visible, you can watch it from this link.
Hintsanen had previously heard the urn -related point that initially angered him.
– I heard that they would have sent the urn by mail as well. First he angry, then laughed. My father does not pass. I apply, Hintsanen writes and states right after that he understands that not everyone has an alternative to applying for a urn.
Hintsanen says he has gone on an urn search trip early in the morning. At that time, Hintsanen was not hungry yet, but when he left in Jyväskylä, the hunger surprised me.
– I was sitting in the car and shouting my dad’s urn in my arms. First the father and the whole situation, then the fact that I can’t go out to eat because I don’t leave my father alone, Hintsanen says of the situation.
Hintsanen says he was sitting in the car lane of the McDonald’s restaurant and moving his father to the back seat to prevent it from becoming entangled in mayonnaise. At the same time, Hintsanen’s Kerttuliisa dog moved to sit next to the urn and begging for his own part.
– In a second, crying turns into laughter and again crying and laughing again, Hintsanen describes the situation.
Hintsanen says he still encounters different rules and labels, how “things in life should be done right”. Hintsanen means, for example, in which situations you should cry or laugh. He describes his own life as being so nuanced that he does not go “underlining his own rules” as the only truth “.
“This day in all its specials, let’s be a reminder,” says Hintsanen.
On the way back, Hintsanen says he had acquired red summer flowers for his father’s tomb because he used to buy them. Alongside the flowers, Hintsanen says he bought “shallow green” and the product was revealed to Hintsanen at the checkout.
– At the checkout, the person listed my purchase and had bought Timjami for my father. Ilmakoski smelled so good, Hintsanen writes.
At the end of his post, Hintsanen sends greetings to the parties he was dealing with during the day.
– Greetings to the employee of Jyväskylä MC Donalds. Really, the couple popped in with the deceased at your checkout. Greetings to the garden as well. Perhaps you may have ever sold the first thyme for funeral, says Hintsanen.
He also sends greetings to his father.
– Dad if you (when) look at this one with Senja, don’t give up on laughter – and of course you don’t hold back, Hintsanen writes.
– Great sadness and joy – overlapping, intermittent and side by side. Life, Hintsanen concludes his post with a red heart.
Hintsanen told about his father’s death in early May.
– There are no words, there is tremendous sadness and emptiness. Last night, the last time was communicated, today you are out of here, Hintsanen wrote.
In the past, Hintsanen has spoken a lot about the death of his daughter Senja. His children had cancer and died at the age of 8 in 2019. Hintsanen recently moved from Aka to Tampere to live with his spouse’s actress-presenter Sami Hintsanen.
