Recommendations of the editorial team
This year’s line-up of the Watt en Schlick Fest is packed with established artists: inside and various newcomers: inside. With guests from the areas of music, literature, art and film, the beach in Dangast below the Kurhaus becomes the home of a festival between the tide and flood.
Once around the world with international acts
Artists: Inside from Canada, Australia, Great Britain, Ireland, France, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden and the Netherlands – they are all represented at this year’s Watt en Schlick. One of them is the French Zaho de Sagazan. As one of the headliners of the festival, the chanson singer now travels not only the French, but also the international audience. The festival also gives international talents a stage with the Australian Uche Yara and the ASHA Jeffries from Australia.
Between indie, pop and punk rock
In addition to various nationalities, various genres are also part of the program at the Watt en Schlick Fest 2025. The golden lemons convince with political-socially critical avant-garde pop, Betterov delivers indie pop as it is in the beech, and the donots bring on the stage as usual energetic punk rock. Also part of the line-up: Madeline Juno, Team Scheisse, the highest railway, shark and many more. In addition, Lars Eidinger gives his comeback as a DJ under the motto “Anti-Disco”.
Secret main act on Saturday evening
Even if the Watt en Schlick Festival program is already certain, one question remains open: Who is the main act on Saturday evening? That remains temporarily secret. But with the interaction of newcomers: the festival program has something ready for everyone anyway. One thing is clear: the backdrop – as every year – will be unique. The spectacular view of the Wadden Sea remains as impressive as always.
