Lance Stroll had recently missed a race due to injury. Now he announces his comeback.

Lance Stroll can start at his home race in Canada after a hand surgery. The Aston Martin driver had to do without a start at the Grand Prix in Barcelona due to weeks of problems. Instead, Stroll undertook an intervention.

“I look forward to driving again for the team at my home Grand Prix this weekend,” said Stroll before the tenth Formula 1 race this season in Montreal this weekend. “After my intervention, I feel good and made a few laps in Paul Ricard this week to prepare me.”

The 26-year-old had injured himself in a bike accident before the start of the season in 2023 and was then operated on the wrist. Stroll is currently with 14 points World Cup twelfth.
