Eva Jinek really walked in with that schnabbel in the first week of her NPO holiday. What was her gage? “She caught around 25,000 euros in the one and a half hours.”
The first week of her long NPO holiday was a busy for Eva Jinek: not only she came back once for a TV special about the cabinet trap, she also had a lucrative schnabbel for an advertiser club. Last week she talked to each other for that club, San Accent, and so she knows how to boost her ‘scant’ Avrotros salary.

Eva has exchanged its RTL contract worth 1.4 million euros per year for the NPO salary ceiling of 246 thousand euros, so to monitor its standard of living, she has to be a lot of Schnabbel in the summer. But what does that shift, present something for an hour and a half on such a stage for that advertiser club?
Lars Duursma, a communication expert who also works as chairman of the day, says in the podcast The Communicado’s: “I think 15,000 euros and if she has negotiated very well, maybe 20. Look, she is really in the top of the market. (…) If you are talking about the very large amounts, yes, they are being counted for a Dutch celebrity.”
Matthijs all day
‘Ordinary’ day chairs take around 3,000 to 4,000 euros, but very different prices apply to Dutch celebrities. “I understood that Mathijs van Nieuwkerk was in the category of 25,000 euros a few years ago, but then you had him for a whole day,” says Lars.
He continues: “I just looked at this program. In the end, Eva Jinek was on stage for an hour and a half. Then you can’t ask for the absolute main prize, so that would not have been 25,000 euros. I think 15,000.”
25,000 euros
Co-host Victor Vlam, known as a media aritor, thinks it’s a little more. “I think between 20,000 and 30,000. So I am a little above that. Let me just estimate the 25,000. The reason why I still sit down 10,000 is because Eva Jinek is really the outdoor category. In the sense that she is one of the most prominent presenters on TV.”
You really pay for the name, says Victor. “She is also someone who does not do very many day presidents. I could not find them on the internet. It is very scarce that she does things like this, so you really pay for the name of Eva Jinek and I also think you pay to compensate for any reputation damage.”
Absurd
For a journalist like Eva, these types of events are of course debatable. “She’s drinking there with all kinds of advertisers. One of those advertisers can be negative in publicity tomorrow and then she has to keep a critical interview in her talk show with people about that subject and that is difficult. That would get a lot of criticism.”
So you have to compensate Eva for any reputation damage. “I think that is the reason why Eva Jinek hardly does things like this, but that she only does it if she gets the real absolute main prize and that seems to me around that 25,000. What is indeed for an evening of work. (…) It is of course absurd a lot, but that is how the market works.”
