On the A2 near Maarheeze, a car caught fire around five o’clock on Monday afternoon. As a result, there is a large traffic jam from Maastricht to Eindhoven. The delay is more than an hour. The damage to the asphalt due to the fire is being investigated and the handling of the accident was still in full swing around six o’clock.
