A motorcyclist was seriously injured around 6 am in a one -sided accident on the Meenteweg, between Meppel and Havelte. The driver, due to unknown cause, collided with a tree along the road.
The victim was rushed to the hospital in Zwolle by ambulance personnel.
During the assistance and salvage work, the Meenteweg was temporarily partially closed to traffic.
