Youth world champion Annett Kaufmann successfully defended her title at the German table tennis championships in Erfurt.
The 18-year-old hopeful of the German Table Tennis Association (DTTB) won 4: 1 in the individual finale against her national team colleague Sabine Winter.
Kaufmann reorganized himself for the defeat in the double semi-final. Together with Yuan Wan, she had lost 1: 3 against winter and Kathrin Mühlbach.
Winter/Mühlbach then secured the title with a 3: 2 in the final on the young hopes Koharu Itagaki/Josephina Neumann. Exactly 15 years ago, the duo had triumphed at the DM.
