After eight years in the club, an era ends: Nicolò Tresoldi leaves Hannover 96 towards Belgium. The striker says goodbye emotionally.
Hannover 96 turns back his home. The now 20 -year -old striker has been hunting for the Lower Saxony since the age of 13. The farewell is correspondingly difficult. This becomes clear not least by a video statement by the striker, which the association published on Instagram and on the website.
In the clip that missed you with “We will be overwritten, Nico”, the striker is emotionally emotionally after the announcement of his change to the Belgian runner -up FC Bruges. “I wanted to say goodbye to a personal video,” he says, explains: “I spent all my youth here, was allowed to celebrate my professional debut here, shoot my first goals. I will never forget the time here.”
For the fact that the club has made such a development possible as a player and man, it will “always be infinitely grateful,” he adds. Now the end of a “wonderful trip” came. However, he will “never forget the city and fans,” said Tresoldi. “Everyone knows what Hannover 96 and the city of Hanover mean to me, nothing will change. I will always stay a Hanoverian boy.”
The striker added his own Instagram account again. “For me, Hannover has become more than an association, it is home,” he writes there. “The city, people and the club have a permanent place in my heart. This time will always remain part of me.”
Now a new section starts for him in Belgium. In Bruges, the 20-year-old signed a contract until 2029. To his commitment to the Belgians, he brings a letter of recommendation from 80 professional games for Hannover 96 (14 goals, six templates). According to their own information, the Lower Saxony has a financial package for the deal that did not yet exist in the club’s history.
