One of the nine women said that Leto approached her in 2006 when she was 16. That happened outside a cafe in Los Angeles. He would have grabbed her arm and asked her telephone number. “I looked down and it was Jared Leto. We quickly have a conversation and he got my number,” she says Air Mail. A few days later he would have called her: “I don’t know if he was at the drugs. It was the strangest, biggest voice. But for me it was Jared, you know?”

That evening he would also have invited her for a party with him, she refused. “I didn’t even have a driver’s license.” He would have called her in the middle of the night several times. According to the woman, those conversations were given a sexual turn. “Have you ever had a boyfriend? Have you ever sucked a penis,” it sounded.

Another woman, model Laura La Rue, told that she also met Leto when she was 16. That happened during an event in Beverly Hills in 2008. “He asked how old I was. I said: I am 16. How old are you,” La Rue told AIR Mail. Leto, who was then 36, then asked for her number. The two started an e-mail correspondence that eventually led to a visit to Leto’s house in April 2009. “I remember that he teased me all the time when I was there. He flirted with me. He leaned close to me and then pulled himself back, as if it were a game.”

In a statement to AIR Mail said a representative of Leto that “their communication contained nothing sexual or inappropriate”. The representative also indicated that La Rue had applied to work as a personal assistant, which La Rue denies.
During a separate visit, according to La Rue, Leto walked out of a room completely naked. She was then 17 years old: “He just walked outside, naked as if it were normal … I thought this might just be what adult men do.”
‘Assaulted and traumatized’
Another woman who spoke with the magazine said that she and Leto started a text-relationship when she was still a minor. According to her, Leto asked her inappropriate questions during her visits to his home. When she was eighteen and was home at home, he would suddenly have shown his genitals and he started masturbating. “Then he walked towards me, grabbed my hand and put it on him. He leaned forward and said he wanted me to spit on it,” the woman said.

Another woman, Allie Teilz, a DJ and music producer from Los Angeles, posted a Facebook status from 2012 on Instagram last month in which she wrote that Jared Leto shown in the backtsage inappropriate behavior. “I was assaulted and traumatized by this creep when I was 17. He knew my age and gave nothing about it. What he did was predatory, frightening and unacceptable.”
A representative of Leto has the accusations of the various women in AIR Mail “Explicitly denied”, including those of Teilz, who, according to the representative, were “demonstrably false.” Leto itself has not yet commented on the accusations.
