Tottenham Hotspur separated despite the European League triumph from TeamManager Verzecoglou.
The English football club announced this on Friday evening, 16 days after the first title in 17 years. A successor has not yet been determined.
Tottenham was “very grateful for his commitment and contribution to the 59-year-old in the club during his two years,” it said in a message.
However, despite the title gain, the “decision does not rely on emotions”.
Postecoglou changed from Celtic Glasgow to London two years ago. In the past season, the Spurs with ex-international Timo Werner took the very disappointing 17th place in the Premier League.
