The collaboration mainly comes to the request of Skeyes that already provides guest lectures to VIVES and internships. They are looking for air traffic controllers, because a lot will retire in the coming years. “We are looking for the best profiles. In the long term, the job will also evolve, so we thought that the bachelor’s degree was an interesting option,” says CEO Johan Decuyper.
The Aviation courses at Vives in Ostend are on the rise. In the past five years they have risen from more than 200 students to 300 this academic year. For next year they expect 400 registrations.
