The best season of the Knicks in the last 25 years was not enough for Tom Thibodeau who, a little surprise, received the Benservito from the New York management. The results are certainly on the side of Thibs who, however, pays an “Old School” approach with the locker room, which, just or wrong it is, in the 2025 NBA rarely works for long periods, and its chronic resistance to limit the minutage of the owners and rely more frequently at the bench. The 67 -year -old coach, however, has an indisputable success on the parquet with the Knicks who for the first time since 1995 have exceeded 50 wins in the regular season in the last two consecutive championships. The elimination one step away from the Finals, against an historical rival like Indian, left the bitterness in the mouth among the fans especially for how it came, marked in particular by an absolutely sensational comeback of the Pacers in Race-1 which necessarily ended up affecting the series.
