At a motorcycle and bicycle shop in Gieten, a fire broke out tonight. The fire started in a shed next to the case and a lot of smoke was released.
A person was checked in the ambulance for inhaling smoke and eventually had to go to the hospital. The fire brigade quickly scaled up and forces from Gieten, Gasselternijveen, Annen and Borger arrived on the spot. The fire brigade was able to scale up after a while.
It is not yet clear how the fire started.
