The newly formed Germany eight collected a setback after the severe preliminary run and missed the hoped-for EM medal.

There was gold in the Para-Mixed Doppelweier for Jasmina Bier and Paul Umbach, for Maximilian and Alexander Aigner in the light two without a helmsman, as well as for Joachim Agne and Finn Wolter in a light double two.
