In Klazienaveen, someone was abducted at the end of the afternoon yesterday. The man was included involuntarily in a car from a building on Langestraat, the police write. It would have been threatened with a firearm.
The victim was eventually released at the N34 at Klijndijk. That was around the start of the evening. The police have now arrested a 67-year-old man from Sappemeer, but does not exclude more arrests.
