On Friday evening (May 30th) Billie Eilish returned to the Lanxess Arena for the second Cologne concert of her “Hit Me Hard and Soft” tour. After the already celebrated start the day before, the US singer again presented an entertaining show that had to offer both intimate moments and energetic highlights. Billie Eilish: Second appearance in Cologne with emotions and surprises
The evening began with the atmospheric intro “Chihiro”, which followed the song “Lunch”. With “NDA” and “Therefore I am”, Eilish relied on a balanced mix of dark sounds and catchy beats.
Another emotional climax was “when the party’s over”, in which Billie Eilish sang about gelopte vocals and asked the audience to silence. The moment usually underlines the special connection between the artist and fans. The excitement was a bit too big for some this evening and so it took a few seconds for everyone to behave really quietly.
At “Your Power”, Billie Eilish then allowed himself a small slip. During the performance she had to laugh so muchthat the song almost went down, which caused a loosened mood. Supposedly she had forgotten her text for a moment.

A special highlight for many was certainly the song “Halley’s Comet”, who was on the setlist for the first time on this tour. The evening before, she performed an acoustic version of “TV” at this point.

The setlist was already clear except for a few changes. At the past shows of the tour not only the same songs could be heard, the sequence of the concert was also almost identical. For example in Berlin, for example-the only exception there was the Coldplay cover from “Fix You”.
