The operation is a collaboration between the Belgian and French Navy, the Flemish Agency Maritime Services and Coast (MDK), and various federal and regional partners.
“The special thing about this operation is that she is driven by two countries,” says Kurt De Winter of the Maritime Operations Center of the Belgian Navy. “The Navy is the platform that makes this possible, together with the use of ships of France and the Flemish Region, drones, and planes – both above, on and under water.”
