Galeria has taken over the property of his Freiburg branch at the Bertoldsbrunnen.
The department store company changes from the tenant to the owner, as Galeria announced on Wednesday at the LinkedIn career network. This is an important step for securing the location of the company. The Operative Galeria Society is managed as a sister company next to the Freiburg real estate company.
“Our branch network is stable and profitable. That is why we agreed with the partner to take over the branch in Freiburg at the Bertoldsbrunnen from the previous real estate company and thus to secure the location in the long term,” explained Galeria Finance chief Sailer Christian.
Galeria, meanwhile, checked “individually and very intensely” whether the purchase of other branch real estate is “sensible and economically presentable”, adds Galeria-Coo Tilo Hellenbock.
