The Argentine football star Lionel Messi gets in with his teammate Luis Suárez’s amateur club in Uruguay. “I am proud and happy that you have chosen me and will do everything in my power to continue building the club at your side,” said Messi in a video published on Instagram on the side of his friend.
Suárez founded the Deportivo LS 2018 association. In the meantime, the club in Ciudad de la Costa has a large sports facility and has around 3,000 members. The club is scheduled to play in the 2nd amateur league in the coming season. With the entry of Messi, the club was renamed Deportivo LSM.
Messi and Suárez are currently playing together in the USA at Inter Miami. The two men and their families have been friends for years and always spend their vacation together. Her sons also play together in the youth department of Inter Miami.
