Bayer Leverkusen demands 150 million euros for Florian Wirtz. Now a first offer for the international is said to have arrived. A piece is still missing from the desired amount.

FC Liverpool apparently wants to sign national player Florian Wirtz. According to information from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the English champion submitted a first official offer to Bayer Leverkusen – over 100 million euros plus bonus payments. The negotiations are already underway and are still to be continued today.

However, it is questionable whether Leverkusen accepts the offer. According to media reports, the required transfer fee for the 22-year-old is around 150 million euros. Wirtz has a contract until June 30, 2027, the club is therefore not under sales pressure.

For a long time, FC Bayern Munich was the favorite in advertising for the offensive player. But at a fan festival, club president Herbert Hainer recently said that Wirtz tends to move to Liverpool-this was also announced by Bavaria’s sports director Max Eberl.

National coach Julian Nagelsmann can also imagine the change. “This is a good step for him because he can play in his position there,” said Nagelsmann about a possible switch to the Anfield Road. He described the British club as a “great environment” and a “great club”. A move to FC Bayern would also have fit from Nagelsmann’s point of view.
