The day after the lost cup final, the players of Arminia Bielefeld were welcomed frenetically in their homeland. In the end, the team was able to celebrate the third division championship and thus promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga.

Today it is finally that far again. We are ready for every game.
I am incredibly proud. I have been Arminen fan for over 60 years and what is going on this season is with the cup final in Berlin, I have never experienced and not hoped to experience that. I ran over the alpine pasture as a small child and that’s just the biggest for me. And yesterday I said to my wife to be there when the national anthem is played for Arminia in the cup final. This is the greatest thing you can experience as a fan of Hermione. Of course, the disappointment is still a bit there that we have lost the cup final. But we can be really proud of the team. We cut out Leverkusen, we have become champions, we are proud of the troops. We torn a lot. We’re doing great. The team has done so horny, and I am just a proud face and to be able to experience it once.
