The match started promising for Boezinge, with some attacks and opportunities via Ponjaert and captain Kevin Château, but Huldenberg defended well. Nevertheless, after fifteen minutes, Huldenberg took the initiative and scored the first goal: after an error in the Boezingse defense, Thibeau Degeest was able to print freely. Shortly thereafter, Degeest doubled the lead with a curled shot. Huldenberg even made it 0-3 just before the break, when Roisin benefited from a mistake by goalkeeper Vanbrabandt.
In the second half, Boezinge continued to fight and got some good chances, but Huldenberg countered efficiently and quickly scored the 0-4 via Verbesselt and Van Nerom. Only in the end did Boezinge save the honor with goals from Mathias Delboo and Lenny Rassalle, but that 2-4 final score was insufficient to ensure promotion. Boezinge will therefore also remain in the first provincial next season.
