On Friday morning December 6, 2024, around 9.30 am, a sex worker in Ostend fell victim to a violent attack by a customer. After an altercation, the man went completely through the ribbon about a refused sexual act. He pulled the cell phone out of the hands of the woman, hit her several times and kicked her. Then he walked into her room and took her handbag with him, after which he fled.
Camera images show that the suspect took the coastal tram that morning in Zeebrugge with destination Ostend, a ride of about an hour. The surveillance cameras could capture him.
Remarkable: That same evening the man brought the stolen handbag back. Only a pack of cigarettes turned out to be missing. Even then he was filmed. He wore other pants on those images than at the incident.
The suspect is a man with a dark beard and a striking walk. During the facts he wore a dark jacket with hood, a black hat and light -colored pants.
