The Platform Group AG (TPG) achieved sales growth in the first quarter of the 2025 financial year. This was attributed to the e-commerce group, which also includes the luxury online retailer fashionette, primarily to the growth of the connected partners: inside and the expansion of the platform and software solutions to 26 industries.

In the first three months of the current financial year, the group generated revenues of 160.8 million euros, the Platform Group announced on Friday. This corresponds to growth of 49 percent compared to the previous year. The gross -like volume (GMV) was increased by 86.9 percent to 356.3 million euros.

The result, which was adjusted for special effects before interest, taxes and depreciation (EBITDA), also improved by 87.1 percent to EUR 15.9 million and exceeded the expectations of the board. The designated net profit was 18.2 million, which corresponded to an increase of 41.1 percent.

Board confirms forecast

“Our investments in new industries and good investments pay off: The first quarter of 2025 was well above our conservative expectation,” said TPG CEO Dominik Benner. “We were particularly pleased that the unpleasant development of rising freight and logistics costs was now stopped by internal measures. The four acquisitions made in 2025 were a good start for the financial year.”

After this successful first quarter, the board confirmed the forecast for the year 2025, which was raised at the end of April. Accordingly, the gross -like volume (GMV) is to increase to 1.3 billion euros in the 2025 financial year. For net sales, an increase is expected to between 680 million and 700 million euros, while the forecast for adjusted EBITDA- due to positive earnings development and the effect of the implemented cost and efficiency program- is 47 million to 50 million euros.

“TPG is only at the beginning of a long-term growth strategy in new sales and earnings dimensions,” said Benner. “Many capital market participants have not yet been aware of this and TPG is not yet a concept. We make an effort to change this slowly.”
