The municipality of Coevorden is organizing a large -scale garage sale to prevent waste. “We regularly see that things end up at the environment that are still perfectly usable,” said a spokesperson for the municipality. “With this garage sale we want to show that throwing away is not always necessary.”
Coevorden therefore changes to a large open -air cycle on Saturday 14 June. Residents from the entire municipality can sell things that they no longer need that day, and simply from their own front garden or driveway.
In the meantime, 82 inhabitants have already registered to participate. You can register up to and including 10 June via the website of the municipality. The municipality later makes an overview available with all participating addresses, so that cycle enthusiasts and bargain hunters know exactly where to be.
