Three observations:
1. Defend yourself, make resistance …
We sing the same melodies forever. Until we no longer sing them ourselves, they are sung us, from the machines that we have fed large. Or? The melody of the folk song “Hejo, excited the car” comes from the early modern era, so it has been haunting through heads and throats for a long time. In 1976 the melody made a career as a protest language choir when in Brokdorf against the construction of the nuclear power plant was demonstrated (unsuccessfully). “Hejo, but now it is over / because it finally has to be different. / You have to make the nuclear strength outlet yourself …” From demo to demo, the text was sealed with a gripper until it became a easily changeable sleeve: “Hejo, resist / against this madness here in the country!”
Only the accusative object of the second line has to be replaced, and you can defend yourself, whereas you may defend yourself: rockets (Pershing, 1980s) / billion grave (Stuttgart 21, 2010) / brown coal (Fridays for Future, 2019) / Corona dictatorship (lateral thinker, 2020). The latest line was created in 2024. The language choir is currently directed against “Fascism here in the country”. In this form it can now also be streamed: Jürgen “Chock” Fastje: “Defend yourself, make resistance”.
2. … against fascism here in the country
Kim Kardashian has been pulsating in time for the time spirit for almost 20 years. She blossomed in the Instagram era, in which she overrusted filter-to-real-life body modification and became a figurehead of all those who wanted to become a brand. Keeping up with your own everyday life as a content! In the years in which “diversity” was still dominant zeitgeist markers (around 2017-2023), she used both drag make-up techniques and a number of black aestheticism and of course the plus-size indicability.
In addition, she made election advertising for the Democrats and was photographed with Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Kamala Harris did not support her in 2024 – at least publicly. On the day of Trump’s second inauguration, she shared a photo of Melania Trump in a super villain costume with a hat, little earlier Kardashian posed with the super villain car of the hour, the Tesla Cybertruck and then staged a Dark Romance for a magazine with the Tesla Ai robot. All of this, while the AfD in Germany is on par with the CDU for the first time in the poll values and is being sought in the features for a positive re-framing of the military service …
3.… keep mies together, keep mies together
And musical? The Berlin rapper Ikkimel nineties of Euro-Trash-Beats mixes very cool with a naive voice and “cheeky cunning”. So is a kind of Shirin David without a handbrake, or rather: with a handjob on that brake. David failed to name her current album young, whimpered and cheeky, but decided on the sound, which sounds neatly as well as slightly dusty, but blond (2025).
Shirin David’s previous albums primarily copied Cardi B, i.e. black rap. Now she and Ikkimel’s model are more of its escapist copy: white, trendy fun rap. A mix of the mindset of Sonya Kraus’ “Talk Talk Talk” (2000-2011), served to Princess Superstars “Bad Babysitter” (2002) and-very, very important-eminem feat. Dina Rae “Superman” (2003). The latter duet is the punch from which the entire white fun rap seems to be born. From that Ikkimel to Shirin David feat. Ski AGGU up to ZSA ZSA feat. Replay.
This internet born overstilization of the White 2000 trash is always somehow about ketamine, fingernails and prada bags. Through beat and picture we are told that all diversity and feminism efforts are already understood, and still are valid, but still: everything is just a shit. So now fun in Versalia. In “Baddie” Ikkimel sighs: “Baby, have a bachelor and it was even bad (yes) I didn’t feel difficult, now I dance naked in videos (haha).” Yes, haha! Baddies, how should I say it? Keep together!
