A 54-year-old woman from Son en Breugel drove on Monday afternoon under the influence of alcohol against a traffic sign and a truck. Another road user followed the woman to her house and called in the police.
The police entered the house of the 54-year-old woman because it was not clear whether the woman needed medical care. “The driver was found drunk at home and taken to the police station,” write the neighborhood agents on Instragram.
The woman blew 800 ug/l, which amounts to about five glasses of alcohol. That is well above the legal limit of 220 ug/l. The woman’s driving license has been taken and a report is made to the Central Driving Skills Bureau (CBR).
According to the police, it is a coincidence that no injuries or fatalities have fallen due to the behavior of the drunken woman.
