According to a statement on the official X page of Ballon D’Or, the 69th Golden Ball award ceremony will be held on September 22 at the Theater du Chetlet in Paris.
Last year’s winner Manchester City Erling Haaland and Jude Bellingham of Real Madrid and Julian Alvarez of Atletico Madrid are among the prominent names this year.
In women’s football, Bonmati, who has been awarded twice before, is one of the favorite names.
Before the ceremony, the list of candidates and details will be announced in the coming weeks by the organizer Football magazine. Yashin Trophy (Best goalkeeper) and Kopa Trophy (Best Young player) awards will also be found at the night.
