Patrik Laine, 27, is so fond of Montreal that he does not miss Finland even for the summer.
The hockey star has decided on his partner Jordan Leigh’s Spending the summer in the city, which became his home with a player shop last summer.
– I love to be here, Laine says In an interview with TVA Sports.
– We have heard so many great things about Montreal’s summer that we decided to stay here. Training continues.
The Montreal season ended in the first round of the playoffs. Laine says that the whole series ended with him to that place.
– I closed the TV when we fell. I will focus on getting ready for next season. Hopefully next year I will watch some games because that would mean that we would still be involved in the playoffs.
The debut season in the Canadiens ranks was decent in the light of the numbers, as 52 matches came to the belt after the knee injury, with the net swinging 20 times.

During the summer, Laine intends to explore Montreal’s sports offer. He plans to be present in the June F1 competition and will play on local football team matches.
– There is so much to see in Montreal. We are going to explore and find what this city has to offer. Jordan is the queen of the organizers, so I trust him. We’re going to have fun.
