Five results are the most confusing moment, writes Mari Pudas, a journalist in Basel.

The voting of Eurovision was the strangest of the years and again raised questions about the juries and their weight.
The writer of this story has previously considered the current system quite good, but now the jacket turns.
The jury saw and heard something that not everyone heard. As an example, for some incomprehensible reason Finland gave Finland Erika Vikman Ich for the comment as many points as Britain’s Remember Monday. The British performance was terrible! Vocals didn’t fit together, the whole show was like the last decade High School Musical –about the movie.
If the jury had appreciated the singing skills, Vikman would have received much more points from the jury. But Finland did not fall into the juries, as did not Sweden Kaj’in. Both rumbled clearly less voices from the audience than they believed. The reason is a mystery and there is no Finnish bubble. Swedish journalists in Basel strongly believed in Kaj’s victory, and Vikman was considered a bad threat.

During the evening broadcast, Sweden strengthened its position as a winner in betting, while Vikman, after his performance, was as high as third.
But those jury. The sounds of the jury and the audience were too heavily distributed. For example, Switzerland Zoë më He got the second most points from the juries, but not at all from the audience. It can’t go.

Instead, the audience votes was Israel. Maybe people liked the song, maybe it was wanted to vote for Gaza’s situation against Palestine, perhaps aggressive social campaigning worked.
As much as the jury is criticized, they saved the Eurovision Song Contest. Israel earned only 66 points from the juries. Those points meant that Israel did not win the Eurovision Song Contest.
If Israel had won, no one would have wanted to participate in the UMK, for example, or in many other countries. You don’t know what the security situation is in a year and the willingness of visa fans to travel to Israel.
So the jury saved the Eurovision Song Contest and actually the whole face of Europe.
