RB Leipzig completely missed participation in the European Cup. Trainer Zsolt Löw showed his statements after the home bankruptcy against VfB Stuttgart.
When asked what has to change at RB Leipzig after a disappointing season with table position seven in the Bundesliga, Zsolt Löw said on Saturday afternoon at “Sky”: “So it has to be a team first, that’s very important. Just play together, train together and be happy to organize something together. The cabin has to become a real team.”
The association had to “make the right decisions in which position and how the team can be strengthened,” said the 46-year-old.
RB Leipzig lost 2: 3 against VfB Stuttgart on the 34th matchday of the Bundesliga in her own arena and thus also the remote duel with the 1. FSV Mainz 05 around the Conference League qualification. Löw’s contract ends in summer.

“The game was a symbol for the season. We let it flash that there is a lot of potential in the team, but do not get it over a constant period of time, neither within a game nor within a period, or a whole season. Therefore, we are also where we are standing and playing next year,” stated managing director Marcel Schäfer.
This means “that we have a disappointing season behind us, but that we also change a few things and after a disappointing season, I think it is also important that you change a few things that you bring a new mind in and that is also an opportunity to redesign things and that is exactly what we will do,” said the 40-year-old.
RB Leipzig played the weakest season of his Bundesliga history.
