Healthcare unions and employers’ organization Vereniging Gehandicaptenzorg Nederland (VGN) have reached an agreement on a new collective labor agreement. This means that the 190,000 employees in care for the disabled will receive a structural wage increase that can amount to more than 8 percent. In addition, the minimum hourly wage has been set at 13 euros, the unions FNV and NU’91 report.
