Formula 1 returns to Europe this weekend: The Grand Prix of the Emilia-Romagna takes place on the traditional Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola. After the victory of Oscar Piatri in Miami, the McLaren pilot leads the driver’s ranking, closely followed by his teammate Lando Norris. With the European start, an exciting section of the season now begins, in which the teams want to consolidate their positions in the title race.
Piatri is 16 points ahead of Norris, Max Verstappen (Red Bull) follows in third place with 32 points behind. In the design classification, McLaren leads with 105 points ahead of Mercedes and Red Bull.
Qualifying on Saturday, May 17th, begins at 4:00 p.m. The race starts on Sunday, May 18, at 3:00 p.m. In Germany, RTL broadcasts both events live on free TV. The transfer of qualifying begins at 3:30 p.m., that of the race at 2:00 p.m.
