For months in the area of FC Bayern, a contract extension of Dayot Upamecano has been waiting for months. However, an exit should be excluded even if the agreement is not.
The TV broadcaster “Sky” speaks of a positive development in Bavaria and Upamecano after the negotiations had stalled weeks ago. Now there have been new conversations. Furthermore, the problem lies in the details. Basically, both games want to go into the future together. According to the “Kicker”, FC Bayern even applies that the Frenchman will definitely play in Munich in the coming season.
Upamecano’s current contract is only valid for a year, but according to the magazine, FC Bayern would not hand over, even if you cannot agree on an extension this summer and would therefore risk a transfer -free departure next year. Rumors had recently come up via a possible move to Paris to PSG.
In the past few months, it has emerged from the past few months that an agreement between FC Bayern and Upamecano Stocke on the salary question. The ideas are very far apart, which is also a result of the contract extension of defensive colleague Alphonso Davies. The Canadian, who suffered a cruciate ligament rupture shortly after the signature, is said to earn 15 million euros gross plus up to 5 million thanks to bonus agreements. As the “Bild” stated, Upamecano (information stand in mid -March) can come to a maximum of EUR 16 million per year with the offer of Munich.
