An employee of the prison in Vught was fired with immediate effect after sleeping in the cell of one of the prisoners. The Custodial Institutions Service announced this on Thursday.
The incident happened on April 14. At that time, the prisoner participated in another location in an activity and was not present in his cell. What the relationship between the two was is unclear.
The service believes that the employee has kept insufficient professional distance and speaks of reprehensible actions.
