Timo and Satu Jutila talk about their first meetings at the Iltaluoto podcast.

Hockey legend Timo Jutila and his Fairy tale-his wife talk about their relationship On the eveningin the podcast. The couple met each other in August 2013 in Tampere on the terrace of Hotel Cumulus, where neither originally had to be.

– I had to go to Viikinsaari. A couple of my friends were in Ilves’ football game and they called that they would still take an hour. I thought I would no longer change the place, but we waited for it. Then the fairy tale came to the table next to his team, Timo recalls in the episode.

“If the boys had come in time, as agreed, we would have left Viikinsaari and we would never have met,” he says.

During the evening, Timo asked the fairy tale for the next day at the Jyväskylä World Championships. The fairy tale agreed and really left the man the next day. This is where their love story began.

Timo says at the podcast that he fell in love with the fairy tale.

The following Christmas Eve, Timo was a fairy tale.

– We had to start making decisions on how we handle housing and other systems. Then I said to Satu, “For me, the third time really says.” He got the answer in less than a second that “yes”, Timo says.

– We thought with Jut that we had nothing to lose. We have been taping the trails for so long that if such a good thing has been thrown in front of us, then I have to try it until the end. That we are not rabbit or packing now, Satu adds.

The couple got married the next year for the first meeting in 2014. Satu describes their registry ordinance as an intimate. The wedding party was celebrated in Vantaa at Teknopolis premises. About a year after marriage, Timo and Satu founded Jetsetclub Oy, a joint company.
