After her convincing victory in the professional debut in March in the Stuttgart Schleyerhalle, MMA fighter Alina Dalaslan can look forward to an even larger audience. The 24-year-old fights in the Prague football stadium in June.
“Stuttgart was just the beginning,” says Angelo Tanga and knocks his fist on a board in his training hall in Stuttgart-West. The tactics that led to Alina Dalaslan’s victory in the professional debut a few weeks earlier is in a long list. The title of self -elected titles is enthroned in large letters: “Alina Oktagon: The Beginning”. The boxing trainer grins: “That was part one.” Then he points to the right side of the board: “Now part two comes: The destruction!” Alina Dalaslan laughs loudly while she bandages her hands. “Alina’s motto is always destruction,” giggles Tanga during filming with SWR Sport into the camera and Dalaslan beats her fists against each other: “Break!”

Then she has to laugh again: “Actually, I get my coach’s wake -up clamp before the fight. Now I have just got her from my opponent.” After that everything went according to plan. Shortly before the end of the third round, Dalaslan ends the duel with a salva of knee cuts to the head.

Simkova can no longer defend himself, referee Gerd Richter jumps in between – technical knockout for Dalaslan, which immediately climbed onto the cage fence and can be celebrated. The beginning is done. Her follower numbers double overnight on Instagram. No wonder that the organizer Oktagon has the next fight for the Wahl Balinger. The next big stage: a football stadium.
Dalaslan’s fight in front of around 27,000 spectators in Prague
“It will be so horny,” says Dalaslan, looking forward to the event, which is supposed to climb around 27,000 spectators in the Prague Eden Arena. Where the Slavia Prague football club usually plays, fought in the cage on June 14th. The Fight Card promises a lot, some mega stars from the European MMA scene will compete. Among them are Karlos Vemola, Kerim Engizek, Makhmud Muradov, Frederic Vosgröne, Lucia Szabova and Bojan Velickovic. Names that are heavyweights in the mixed martial arts circus. Right in the middle: Alina Dalaslan and her opponent Roza Gumienna from Poland. “Of course, fighting in the stadium is violent,” says vertical starter Dalaslan impressed: “Especially in the second professional vapor. I only fight here with stark fighters. It is an honor to stand on such a fight card,” said the 24-year-old. “It will be a battle,” is striking coach Angelo Tanga.
Alina will be perfectly prepared, he says and still admits that he is excited: “Of course there is a close, emotional bond between trainer and fighters. You train together, you trust yourself, you like yourself.” Leaving the emotions completely out is therefore difficult, especially at such a big fight evening. “But we have a corner with a lot of UFC experience and are used to big events. A bit of excitement is part of it, but we can handle it,” he says, looking forward to the stadium event.

“The next banger awaits you,” promises Alina Dalaslan and makes an announcement to her opponent: “I want to deliver a cool show, the spectators should have as much fun as I do. The only one who won’t have fun is my opponent,” she says and laughs. Even though Gumienna is already traveling from nine MMA professional steaming with experience, Dalaslan is aware of the victory. It is not a matter of course to get such a large stage so early in the career: “In the second fight, it shows how much potential you see in me. For me, this is less pressure than motivation.”
For Alina Dalaslan, the fight in Prague is said to be only another stopover anyway. The Dalaslan team is not lacking in confidence. “We train hard and have a few new weapons in the Arsenal,” announced Angelo Tanga. “Keep keeping up. Until you are the best,” says the fighter herself. In Prague, the next step is to follow the title.
