No more, over, over: Norman Theuerkauf ends his active professional career. He was once one of the Bundesliga promotion heroes of Eintracht Braunschweig.
It was an essential part of the Bundesliga promotion team from Eintracht Braunschweig in 2013: Norman Theuerkauf draws a line under his active player career. This was announced by his current club 1. FC Heidenheim at the beginning of the week.
The 38-year-old had worn the FCH jersey since moving from Eintracht to Heidenheim in 2015. “As a FCH-professional, Norman Theuerkauf has significantly shaped our successful sporting development for ten years. In addition, his commitment and loyalty were outstanding and exemplary,” explains FCH CEO Holger Sanwald in the corresponding press release.
At the end of his ten years in Heidenheim there are still a maximum of three competitive games. On the 34th and last matchday of the Bundesliga season, he meets his club on Werder Bremen on Saturday (3:30 p.m.). For Heidenheim, Theuerkauf played 274 competitive games. His contract expires after this season. In the future, the defensive player will work as a coach of the U15 in Heidenheim.

Since 2009 he had completed 176 professional arts for the BTSV. Including 29 games in the 2013/14 Bundesliga season. Overall, he came up with eight goals and eight templates for Eintracht.
