The draw of the organization was held in Al Hazm Galleria in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
The Moon-Star team entering the draw from the 4th bag will play with a team (Slovakia, Switzerland or Ukraine) coming from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Pre-qualifiers in Group C.
The teams that take the top three in their groups will rise to the second round and compete in I, J, K and L. In these groups, the first 3 teams will be entitled to participate in the FIBA 2027 World Cup.
A Men’s National Team will play the first round matches between 24 November 2025 and July 7, 2026.
2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup will be held on 27 August-12 September 2027 in Qatar.
