In the criminal trial against doctors and nurses from Diego Maradona, a daughter of the Argentine football legend has made serious allegations against the medical team.
Her family was manipulated by the doctor Leopoldo Luque, the psychiatrist Agustina Cosachov and the psychologist Carlos Carlos Díaz in order to agree to domestic care after a brain surgery of the laying of Maradona, Gianinna Maradona as a witness in the legal proceedings to the death of her father four and a half years ago.
“I feel great pain, it seems very unfair to me. Those responsible have assured us of things that did not occur. It was a terrible manipulation,” the newspaper “La Nación” quoted the daughter of Maradona.

The accused threaten up to 25 years in prison
Since mid -March, seven doctors and nurses have been on trial in a suburb of Buenos Aires because of Maradona’s death. The public prosecutor accuses them of homicide. All accused reject the allegations. In the event of a conviction, they face imprisonment of up to 25 years.
Maradona died of a heart attack on November 25, 2020 in a private residential complex north of Buenos Aires at the age of 60. A few weeks earlier, he had undergone brain surgery.
