– This has been quite a process. Persecution affects many people, and that’s why I wanted to make this a criminal matter. It is not just about publicity, but about all women who are victims of harassment, Karlsson comments on Tuesday.
“Stalker” had over 7,000 pictures of Karlsson on his phone. In addition, the man had sent hundreds of messages and tried to call the skier.
The persecution even waited for Karlsson in front of this home and wanted to spend time with the ski star. This brought to Karlsson a feeling of insecurity.
In February, Karlsson won the World Cup gold in Trondheim, Norway in 50 kilometers (v) and women’s message and bronze at 10 kilometers (p).
