A car was overlooked on Monday evening at the N65 near Berkel-Enschot. For unknown reasons, the motorist lost control of the wheel. The car then hit the head, drove through some bushes and came to a halt on the side on the Bosscheweg, along the provincial road.

Bystanders came to the aid of the driver, but the driver could get out of the car himself. In the meantime, the police, ambulance and Rijkswaterstaat were already engaged. Ambulance personnel took care of the victim, but he was not seriously injured.

Because of the accident, which happened around ten past six, a traffic jam on the N65 arose. A recovery company has been called to get the car back on its wheels and to remove it. The police are investigating what exactly happened.
